cronos parasite engines, any ideas?

Im wondering what y´all new (or old) DE players are planning on using for a cronos parasite engine, I was thinking about converting a wraithlord into a Talos, any thoughts on Cronos?

For me, I just point at one of my Talos and say "Thats a Cronos".

I could probably magnetize my Taloi so I can swap out their weapons to become a Cronos at the very least.

I personally think that a converted Wraithlord would be awesome! But Buffos answer is probably the easiest... Just paint it a different color.

The codex entry describes it more as a spiderlike crawler.

One i've seen was a Talo's body upside down, the legs from a necron beastie attatched

A friend of mine used a combination of the necron tomb spider and the dark eldar Talos. Useing the legs as a base, he made two, one with a green stuffed head with two pincers. and another with more talos body but with the drill arms.

Hope that makes sense.

what about the new FW necron crawler?

When I read the chronos fluff my mind imediatelly sprung towards that.

from the look of the size of the necron crawler you could prolly make 2-3 cronos from it, but im not sure you would want to? it would look very... necrony... its quite pricey too iirc?

i like the one linked above, its pretty cool. then again, alot of that guys conversions are pretty cool :P i wish i had conversion-fu like that.

I like the idea and the heat lances look good but I'm not sure you've picked the best reaver carapace of the 4 options, it looks a bit like an elephant.:p

I felt the same way at first, but the head has really grown on me. Remember, I did make three of these things, and this was the last head I used. Now that you've said it, I can't see anything but an elephant when I look at him... I think I'll call him Babar.

LOL @ Babar! I thought it was a pretty awesome idea using the reaver bike hoods as a "head"

After a lot of looking around I decided to go for two of these as my Cronos engines:
