View Full Version : What would you like citadel to make?

So I was looking at the dark eldar raider and really liked to see the kroot skull on display. I would love it if citadel came out with a skull pack with all the skulls of the 40K universe. I want some tyranid skulls and some tau skulls. I would also like to see some non imperium terrain.

What would you like to have that there aren't models for?

Something affordable.

I'd like to see the specialist games ranges filled out more, more gangers for necromunda, some blood bowl players that were sculpted this decade etc. Altough i suppose these have models already so its not answering the question properly.

Maybe some 40k civilians, rogue traders- models that let us see the backround fluff come a bit more to life and see more than just the battle field.

High $$$ Forgeworld items in less expensive (but still overpriced) Citadel plastic!

I also want forgeworld models. Once you've seen the tau battle suits that they have you just want to smash the old ugly ones.

40k civilians would be great. You could have a game where the deffender is trying to save civilians and the attacker is trying to capture or just kill them.

Also on a side note how is necromunda? What kind of game is it?

I want them to release some models of the lesser xenos of the 41st Milennium, eg:
- Squats/Demiurg
- Hrud
- Enslavers
- Jokaero
- Megarachnids
- Umbra
- Loxatl

Five Things I'd Like to See GW Make

1. As you say, some Xenos terrain

2. More Imperial terrain - something other than ruined manufactorums. Bring back the old one piece plastic wrecked chimera pieces, etc -- and pick up the slack for any terrain pieces FW drops.

3. The missing Nids

4. Plastic Tallarn sprues to go with the existing Cadians.

5. Plastic pirates / necromundan gangers / rogues boxed sets -- something you could use to make Hiver scum or modify your vets with shotguns and bionic feet and such ...

I forgot to mention- arbites.

I always thought a god way of making an ordos Xenos codex would be to bring back the Arbites as the bulk of the force and death watch elites. That way you get to have back two classic armies nstead of one.

40k civilians would be great. You could have a game where the defender is trying to save civilians and the attacker is trying to capture or just kill them.

Save Civilians? This is 40k, not Dungeons and Dragons. Not fighting in battle is being a liability. Being a liability is heresy. Heresy is death.

This type of thing would only really work for the Eldar and the Tau

I get what you are saying brains and I agree. Is there anyone a space marine would try to save?

GOOD call on the Loxatl ... was just rereading Gaunt's Ghosts ... those would be awesome to see ...

and while we're at it -- what about a Blood Pact conversion kit? Why pay for resin?

Grailkeeper

Necromunda is a great game, its as close to 40k civilians as you get

basically criminal gangs on a hive world battle each other for fun and profit.

as oyou play longer your gangers get stronger and more experienced and gain better weaponry and equipment but may be injured or die.

its on a smaller scale than 40k- ten models a side or so

Some civilians would fight, but there no requirment for them all to do so

Salamanders would definitely save civilians, and space wolves and ultramarines would probably save civilians, provided it didn't jeopardise the mission

I'd like to see the Catachans redone. I'd also like to see Tanith Guardsmen.

But I know neither will happen until I finish my Tanith army - I am using Catachan models with the metal Ghosts miniatures thrown in.

Female plastic IG
More female special characters.
Eldar Terrain (though I'm not sure it would sell enough to warrant it, this is a wishlisting thread)
Plastic Aspect Warriors and Wraithguard.
New Warlock models.

I'd like to see some 'bits' style conversion sets. Packs of heads/weapons/alternate arms/alternate legs would work for various races and give something that'd allow people to customise and personalise their forces more; rebel/veteran guard, more diverse Space Marine poses, Eldar pirates...

I'd also second plastics for the Eldar Aspects and Wraithguard. In fact I'd like most Eldar updated so I can stop looking longingly and the new DE!

+1 for Plastic Wraithguard. There's no way i'll buy 10 to get them as a troops choice.

Bionic Terminator parts
A kick *** Iron Hands HQ model.

A multi part eldar webway gate with craftworld and dark eldar bits could have enough appeal to sell tolerably well (still makes a good objective for a lot of other forces trying to loot eldar tech).

A plastic farseer/warlock box with legs for riding the new craftworld jetbikes that we've been promised.

I'd like to see greatcoat wearing plastic guardsmen (like the mixed Valhallan regiment in the Ciaphas Cain books).

A new plastic chaos vehicle upgrade sprue to replace the two ageing ones they have at the moment with some better upgrade bits for the different gods.

Deffkoptas, rather than just those in the Black Reach Boxed set. With all the options availible to them in the codex.

Hydras for Guard and possibly another of the artillary pieces. Still like the idea of not having everything from the codex availible as a kit though.

Space Marine Master of the Forge with a Conversion Beamer.

Plastic Grey Knights

More non-Imperial Terrain, and More terrain that isnt just ruins

More board sections for the Gaming Board, maybe even some snap together river sections that can sit on the board as well.

Plastic Thunderhawk! (we can all dream can't we?)

Other than that, Daemon world terrain! Gimme a cliff with some eyes on it, damn it!

Lets see:
1) terrain to match every army eg; cathedral like terrain for SoB
2) more female miniatures as Eldargal said.
3) um....no brainer here...plastic Sisters of Battle with a new Codex asap.
4)most importantly bring back the colour range of spray cans GW

if GW wanted all my expendable income for 2-3 months, all they have to do is release plastic tallarns.

failing that, the overprices FW stuff in still overpriced GW plastic would work for me too.

edit: Connjurus, a cliff with eyes on? thats so specific it made me rofl!

I don't know which D&D campaigns you've been playing, but saving civilians is usually the last thing on the PCs' minds.

I'd love to see some AdMech stuff. I don't care what. I would buy and pain a model of an Archmagos Biologis sitting on a toilet and taking a crap.

DICK TREES.

I lold after reading the other treat about political correctness and then this ^^

tbh I'd like for a redo on the aged stuff even if its only to up them to current technology.

compare old lizardmen saurus or kavalry to new de and you crie if you are playing fantasy :)

I second (third? eighth?) Bloodpact conversion kits and Stalk Tanks.

Also:

-Bigger, plastic Greater Daemons, of a scale and quality to equal the Trygon.
-Female guardswomen
-Arbites
-AdMech
-Plastic Valhallans or Mordians (sigh... or Tallarn.)\

-PLASTIC PLAGUEBEARERS!

AdMech

YES. ONE MILLION YES. I would seriously pay serious $$ for an Adeptus Mechanicus army. By far my favorite faction in the fluff, and Tech Priests are my favorite class in Dark Heresy...

Just picturing how much carnage a single Secutor could wreak makes me smile.

But on a more serios note, whatever currently is metal only or some more daemon engines.

Iron Hands!!!

For the love of god...the only founding chapter without a special character in the new codex.

AdMech too, hell...they should wrap the two into the same codex, and do something akin to what greyknights do with hybrid IG/Marine forces. There's enough precedence in the lore to make that viable, and IH frankly don't fit into the vanilla codex in how they're structured.

Actually, I'd love to see them do a new Index Astartes with a new BALANCED redo of the trait system. Along with it, release special chars for SM chapters that dont have them yet, as well as shoulderpads for those missing it.

Ugh....there's so much! Personally, I'd like to see:

Lukas Bastonne
Mogul Kamir
Plastic Hydra (Those stupid warped resin barrels drive me crazy!)
Plastic Broadsides
Plastic Shield Drones
Plastic Pathfinders
New Mephiston Model

Honestly, I would like to see a lot of Special Characters done as sort of a "One off" thing, kinda like the Space Marine casualties or the Space Wolf with Dual Lightning Claws...

I get what you are saying brains and I agree. Is there anyone a space marine would try to save?

Both Space Wolves and Salamanders have some fluff that indicates they have worked to save civilians. Red Cross, they ain't, but at least Logan was pissed when the Inquisition decided to "reeducate" civilians and Guard units he'd fought beside on Armageddon. Does that count?
