Several months ago I saw a 40K blog with a link to some model makers who had created plate-like molds for making scale cables/hoses from green stuff (or other putties) by rolling the putty between the molds, thereby inscribing lines onto the putty. I thought I had saved a link to this product but I can't find it. Anyone know who makes these molds I describe? Google is failing me (or I am failing it, depending on your perspective).

Great idea but a bit expensive.

I could probably machine a set out of Aluminum, charge what I make on overtime and still charge less. If these are resin cast pieces they are charging way too much.

Years ago I made something like these using styrene sheet and triangular rod.

Perhaps you are looking for the Power Cables made by Dragonforge? They are an excellent product. Here's a link (http://dragonforge.com/Painting%20service/for%20sale/sculpting_supplies.htm).
