Haemoculus archon head swap?

As you avid readers of dark eldar lists to see how others think shall know Im planning a DE list led by a haemoculus.

However, to be very frank all current models for them are kinda ugly, even the new urien sculpt looks too replusive in my opinion, Now don't get me wrong, its a nice sculpt.
But I really dnt see my haemoculus as a Doc Ok immitator.

How do you feel a archon model with a bear head swap would seem. Like a haemoculus whos power has gone to his head and compares himself to his Archon betters rather than his lab rat the other archons think he should be?

Use whatever you want as a Heamonculus. There really isn't anything to it as long as it looks cool and is fun to use!

The only problem I can see is that the heavily armoured Archon model doesn't really fit with a Haemonculus in terms of WYSIWYG.

What if he isnt allowed the same tech as an archan so hes like wearing a costume cus he is power mad.
or if not power mad His archon prefers less repulsive servents so has a dress code.

Paint his cloak flesh coloured to represent skin, replace his head and file down the soul stones and other jewellery, should be fine. Maybe paint his armour bone so he really stands out from the archon?

You'll probably want to change his weapons too as the default combo of husk blade and soul trap is a waste for a haemonculus, although you could say that the soul trap represents his pain token and the husk blade is just a regular weapon.

Have you considered using some Cephalyx? http://privateerpress.com/files/products/cephalyx-overlords-CLPD.png

They're much more aesthetically pleasing than any haemonculus figure relased so far.

I was also thinking of maybe a vampire lord model, but obv needing conversion so that it has liquifier gun :p
Edit: nope on the none gw models, want the army to be tourn legal

Plenty of tournaments allow non GW models.
