Rhino/Valk Side Doors

I've just read on a blog that someone thinks that the side doors from a Rhino near enough fit the side access hatches on a Valkyrie.

If true I'd like to add some Forge World doors to my creation. I have the Valkyrie (Stormraven) but my only Rhino is an ancient MkI with round side doors so I can't compare.

Anyone here own both? Any chance you could do a quick size comparison for BoLS and my benefit?

In terms of width, it's not far off, however the Valk doors have square corners (so they fit in the slide rails) where as the Rhino doors have the corners cut off essentially. The doors on the Valks are also angled at the bottom to match the shape of the hull.

If you wanted the detail from the FW doors, your best bet would probably be to buy the doors, cut around the detail and stick that on to the Valk doors. Alternatively a lot of the details can be brought as icon packs instead.

Soton - I'd considered press moulding etc some details to add but I really want to get rid of the slide door for something more 'Marine-y' Cheers for the info though, know what to look out for now!
