I'm building a nurgle plague tower for an Apoc game this Saturday, and the Shrine of the Aquilla seemed a good base for it. A note for those who want to build one: the floor tiles for the top need to be three across, and need to be cut down about an eigth of an inch each side. The bottom texture will need to be cut down as well to allow it to properly mate with the tower.

Here is the plague mortar erupting from the throat of the shattered Aquilla. I need to add more putty to the throat to clean it up. Well, nurgle it up. It's made from two different diameters of brass tubing.

The demolisher cannons below are able to turn indepentantly of each other. The main base of the cannon is made from a receipt spool cut into two pieces, with a pen in the center to provide a center pivot point. I used two 40mm square bases to provide support for the pen. A strip of plasticard was used to hide the join between the two spool parts. I then prettied the strip up with some rivets made from cut hexagonal rods.
