hello

ive run into a little problem with my latest project: vulture gunship with punishers
id like mine to be a =][= gunship which is white but not a shingy white a white like ....

i assume it aribrused washed and weathed but im not too sure :o

p.s. as anyone else has horribley mutated punishers i had to send mine back it looked like a nurgle weapon -_-
(and the vulture wings didnt fit )

It looks to me that it was started with an original color of bleached bone or some similar tan color and then airburshed with fortress gray. The only true white I see is on the red-white-red striping. Of course there are various layers of washing, weathering and dry brushing on top of the basic colors.

I think iirc that the vostroyan scheme shown is based around drybrushing. There was either a white dwarf or online guide on how to paint it. I'll see if I can find it.

Basecoat with Fortress Grey
Paint panels Bleach Bone
Highlight panels Skull White
Wash of choice in recesses.
Watered Badab in select places you want darker.
White highlights
This should achieve the desired look. White but not pure "Blinding" white.
