Bitz made Weapons for Land Raider

Hi everyone,
I got a two landraiders from a friend yesterday but they all had lascannons only. I couldnt find any other weapons at my friends house so I thought of doing some on my own with bitz and scrap. So my question is, does anybody know how to make Hurricane Bolters, Flamestorm Cannons and Assaullt Cannons out of scrap?
For the Assault cannons I though of using some burst cannons from my Tau models.

Assault cannons are pretty easy to make out of round styrene rods (plasticcard rods) or very small wooden dowel.

Hurrican bolters are just three twinlinked bolters on each side. You can take left over bolters from marine sprues if you have enough and cobble them together.

Thanks for the quick responses. Ill will try to get Bolters of my marines which I dont need at the moment. Lerra your Idea is very good but ill probably take some Tau burst cannons, before I buy some rods because they are very hard to find where I live. I still have lots of them lying around here. They only look slightly different I think.

I know you where specific asking for "ways to scrap build them", but I don't know if your aware that you can get all the pieces as a conversion pack? That way you can magnetise the weapons and swap for what ever weapon load out you want. I thought of getting that crae but I dont know if it will reach me in time for the tournament in 2 weeks. I will see what I can do.

Another good source for tubing is to take apart a bunch of old ink pens. Cut-the ends off above the ink though and trash the rest of the tube or things could get messy!

It's depends where your located in the uk you get mainstream stuff like that sprue in two to three days to home or every Friday to a local GW there delivery speed for anything that doesn't need to be cast is excellent.
