So i've just finished reading Mechanicum and while not the best HH book out there, it wasn't bad.

It mentions the loss of the book of the dragon at the end of the novel. Re-reading Titancus now and just got to the part where the adept senioris was seen reading an ancient book from the sequestered archives on orestes and finally orders it burnt. it seems that perhaps the book contains the seeds for the schism to happen later in the story.

any one else thinks perhaps the burnt book and the book of the dragon are perhaps one and the same?

I've read both books and took no notice of any possible links. I think the book that's missing from 'Mechanicus' is more about Chaos or the Warp than it is about the destiny of mankind.

Why is this discussion of novels that have been out for ages in News And Rumors?
