Here are a couple of pictures of a Salamander Terminator Sgt. that I'm using as a test model for my new Salamanders force. (Yes, it might possibly have been smarter to not start right out with a term. sgt, especially with FW shoulder pads, but it was too cool looking a mini not to.)

I like a somewhat darker look, so I went with orkhide -> 50/50 orkhide/snot -> badab black esp in recesses and joints -> heavy drybrush snot green -> light drybrush scorpion green for highlights. But now I'm wondering if I went a bit too dark. What do you think?

(Other relevant details: The salamander hide on the r. shoulder was done w/ green and sepia washes over bleached bone; the eyes are sunburst yellow over darksun foundation and I'd love to get a better recipe for yellow eyes; the gold is shining gold -> sepia wash -> burnished gold drybrush; and the base is Vallejo's Black Lava with a dusting of GF9's Ash Waste flock)

Criticism and suggestions are more than welcome.

Very nice! I played Sallies for a while, and I always liked a darker look as well, the light green always seemed to cartoony to me. Keep up the good work!
