Expanding Army for 2011 Ard Boyz

First off new member here, but I have been browsing the site for a couple of years now.

So to the point...I am considering entering Ard Boyz next year and I see that they run 2500 points. My current UltraMarine army is at 1750 points. My question is when I expand my army am I allowed to use other Space Marine chapters in my army or do I have to stick with my UltraMarines?

you still have to use CODEX: space marines but you are allowed to have say 1000pts of impreail fists and 1500pts of ultras just as long as you keep with 2HQ 3 ellites 6 troops 3 fast 3 heavy and codex space marines !

Now for a follow-up question what if I use a chapter that has it's own codex like SW or BA?

sadly if you run space wolfs you have to run an all SW army

if you run BA you use codex BA

even though there all marines you only can use 1 dex (though nothing to stop you using codex SW for smurfs or codex SM for wolfs) its like mixing dark eldar and eldar!

'Ard Boyz doesn't score painting in any way, so the colour of your models (Ultramarine Blue, Imperial Fist Yellow, or Bozo Marines polkadots) makes no difference. As long as you are using the same codex for all of them.

Bozo Marines? Sounds almost as bad as Rainbow Warriors.
