Im looking for a suitable dark green spray paint for my new DE army, (I really can't be bothered to brybrush 8 tanks, 30+ bikes and 60+ infantry).

If anyone knows where I can find a supplier that sells some, it needs to be matt (not glossy at all as its an accentuation colour) and suitbale for GW minis.

Thanks in advance.

use an airbrush--- I find the GW airbrush works well--- you can use Dark Angels green (or whatever it is called now)

Yeah but I don't own an air brush, not do I want to fork out for one for a single colour.

Well, this is the only Dark Green Flat type Primer I could find that I think might work. Normally I recommend Army Painter Colored Primers, as their product is great. The only problem is, they don't carry a Dark Green Color, so I had to go check out Flames of War. See if one of these will work for you.

here's the thing--- I think it will actually be cheaper for you to buy the airbrush and a couple jars of green than to buy a bunch of bottles of spray paint. It will probably take 3-4 cans of the flames of war spray to cover all ya models: $80. Tanks alone eat a lot of spray.

If you already have an air compressor, all you need is ~$2 part to adapt the GW airbrush ($30). 4 Jars of paint (~$16 probably more than you need) Totally worth it.

Have you primed the models? Because you need to do that first, anyhow.

Im waiting for the black primer to arrive, the green isn't going to be block colour, I want a speckled effect so its not actually going to take much paint at all.

The idea is to prime black, speckle the green on (directional so there is a shadow behind overlapping armour plates) then do an extreme teal highlight.

*Edit*

I've just found a nice UK stockist for the FoW spray paint, £5.27 a can... Bargin.
