Check the big skull on the throphyrack from the "big boss" on the Dark Eldar cover. Its not a Nid right? Maybe a new "slave/aly" race for the Tau? What do you think?

I think it is just a suitably alien/daemonic looking skull to show that Dark Eldar raid anyone, not just humans/other Eldar.

What of the mystery skull on the Raider (http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1400449a_2010-09-29_7_749xDeep.jpg)? Specifically, the topmost skull on the left spike (by the gunner). Can't make out what it's from myself.

I don't see anything unusual or unidentifiable about the skulls by the gunner; they look human or Eldar to me.

Yeah it'll just be the skull of some miscellaneous, ferocious beast from some unknown planet. A key thing to remember is that there are thousands of semi/sentient species in the 40k galaxy, and most of 'em are never gonna be put in a book.

To be fair, in the fluff there are a number of both lesser races and now extinct races. It's just as plausible that either of the skulls in question are one of those.

I do like the idea of the extra race being added to 40k though, despite my gut feeling that it's going to be added to Fantasy.
