Then I saw the Warrior. The whole thing looks fantastic, the Helmet especially though and it will crossover well into the Eldar range.

Raiders are cool too, still not sold on the sail but it can be left off so its no biggie

Hi all. I know it's not de related but whilst I'm waiting for the fw seminar thought I post what I chatted to will Hayes and Warwick about IA11. In addition to the vehicles seen there will be new aspect warriors but this will be addressed in the seminar. Warwick did say that they are looking at doing cadian upgrade kits for winter fighting ( boots, gloves, face protection and googles) and also tank upgrade kits (air intakes, snow ploughs etc) These will be to go with the plastic cadian kits but he did say that vahallens may be looked at in the future in the same way as elysians. One last think is that the space wolves will be a whole great company. He wouldn't say which one but did confirm the lord was going to be modelled and ruled out a couple. It was hinted that it may be a mounted model..... The deathwolf perhaps

IA11 definitely SW/Cadians/Elysians vs Eldar.

New aspect for the Eldar - Shadow spectres, think jumpacks with mini prism cannons which can combine beams for added firepower. Models are stunning.

Nothing on the Wolves it wil be a ice planet set and there will be cold weather IG stuff.

General story of IA11 is a eldar colony world which 'put into storage' (deep freeze) and forgotten.

Discovered by imperium during Great Crusade.

Small eldar defending force destroyed by SW.

10k years later eldar discover webway portal to planet but then find that the defending force has been killed and replaced with guard/marines.

Series of raids from corsairs/rangers etc before the big craftworld army attacks.

Planet is of significant importance as they need to justify the use of the Phantom.

Cadians + Elysians to be involved (with cold weather upgrades as mentioned in my previous posts)
Space wolves are the marines, concentrating on one Great Company.
Likley to be One SW character and maybe a couple of Eldar.

Eldar also getting fully enclosed war walkers (for the cold)

Sounds good, hope the Eldar win for a change.

All i can say is they're amazing.

New FW eldar tanks are awesome. Small one fills the gap between Vyper and Falcon, can have any twin linked gun it wants (from the standard weapon sprues). The bigger one is between a Falcon and a Scorpion, less Structure points, and only 1 pulsar.

Hayes hinted at Warlock conversion kit for the Phantom titan. As well as maybe new Eldar fliers?

DE are wonderful. Fluff i read was great, talks about Tau getting double crossed, and another where they help Craftworld Ilyanden because they're amused by the Necromantic activities with Wraith constructs. Theres also a timeline plotting the rise of Vect

Models are gorgeous. Some of theit hair is a little emo, but I can get over it.

Harlys are in, and identical to Craftworld Eldar, which prob rules out any new ones (Great Harly etc etc).

Actually you forgoet Imperial Armour 1 Edition 2... They're re-releasing Imperial Armour 1 with updated rules. Before IA11.

Twin-linked Multimelta's each side, and some sort of multi barreled chain gun front. Doubt it carries troops, so im guessing maybe extra armour for free.

THIS is one of the truest to god facts ever...they were god damn dreadful service, only had 1 till for the busiest section and couldn't follow their fundamnetally poor system. I waited 2 hours. My friend queued at the same time in the regular section of the sales point and got served in 5 minutes

If I remember correctly it is a thunderfire cannon on the front, and yes it does have extra armour. Essentially its a more Mechanicus based Land Raider, though still for SM (not for a mechanicus army).

Don't know if it carries troops or not, but I can imagine it being a transport for a master of the forge and his servitors or something

It seems like the fantasy releases got a little overshadowed by the Dark Eldar stuff. Shame, since those FW pieces look great! I may be in the minority, but I think FW's Ironclads look a thousand times better than the GW ones. The GW ones make great furioso's, but the FW versions look more like AV13 to me.

Good evening boys and girls,

I've been looking through the Games Day UK pics and notice that no-one seems to have gotten a shot of the new Eldar Aspect or the new Warhammer Toad Dragons. So I've thought I'd step up.

Darren Parwood and Warwick confirmed that the Wolves would be in IA11, they were also strongly suggesting that the new Eldar Lynx may not be limited to the Pulsar and that other titan weapons might find their way onto that chassis.

They also had a Terminator with a variant of lightning claws that have chain blades on the palms. They said they weren't certain if he would be released or not, it had just been 'made for fun'. I even believed them until I saw a painted version on page 51 of IA9. It was suggested on the day that he was a member of the re-branded Space Sharks. They now have a new Latinised (High-Gothic) name and have dropped the 'balloon' from their shoulder pads, it looks like they'll be called the Carcharodon Chapter. It's Greek for Big-Tooth and is the genus name for the Megalodon.. They aren't listed as one of the chapters covered in IA9, so we'll have to wait until IA10.



Also in one of the WD Subscriber Seminars Jervis was drawn into a talk on GK & SoB.

He confirmed that neither force was being 'boxed' never to be seen again. They will be re-visited and that to quote the big guy verbatim 'We wouldn't do one without the other' I guess you can either take that as, we'll re-do both in our own sweet time or see it as adding fire to the Combined 'Dex theory.

Either way, there seems to be a 40k window in February none of them were allowed to talk about.

I think that the forum doesn't let you attach pics until you have a certain postcount...? So get posting, or you'll just have to upload them somewhere else like photobucket or tinypic. ;)
