OK< so Forgeworld has released Mk II, III, IV, V and VI armor sets.

They also released Phobos pattern bolters, Umbra Ferrox pattern bolters and Umbra pattern bolters.

So which armor use which bolters? The Umbra pattern goes with the Mark III I believe as they were released at the same time.

Phobos goes with MK II - Crusade armor
Umbra and umbra ferrox goes with MK VI -Corvus armor

But its a bit umbigious since the bolters and armour where mixed as new versions of both where introduced.
Look at this link of the armor versions and what bolters goes with them http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Power_Armour. Under the discribtion of the phobos patern on the forgeworld page it even says that it is closely related to the crusade armor. The first plastic set of marines that was relaeased where corvus armor and they had Umbra patern bolters.

MK 2-4 are from "the great crusade" era and from their own description on their homepage Phobos goes with MK2 and under the description from their own homepage, the umbra pattern was produced at the end of "the great crusade" and goes with mk4 and onwards armour. Any one that has played second edition or rogue trade recognises the umbra pattern from the "Crimson fists last stand" picture where all the marines have corvus armour. MK 5-6 armour is from the heresy era and are would still equipped with the Umbra pattern, that was mass produced at the end of "The great crusade". The umbra ferrox is just a umbra with more "bling" so to say. I'm really surprised that you got so bad info from Forgeworld them self, since it is pretty clearly stated on their own homepage.
