Abbadon Conversion

A friend of mine had showed me a link to someone's pictures of their Abbadon Conversion using bits from the original model, and I thought I'd post up pics of my own Conversion. Apparantly he, and I had the same idea, but used different materials. lol The bits used were a head from a Chaos Space Marine Sprue, a sword from one of the new BloodLetters, an Ork top knot, a Chaos Stormboter from a spare vehicle sprue, filed down underneath to fit semi-flush against the powerfist/claw, and one of the newer Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor Kits. I know, the cape shouldn't be there, but I didn't realize this until after I had already modeled him up, and by that time, it was too late. The painting is not fantastic by any means, and I would have liked to do something more complex with the sword, but I didn't have enough time as I was about to use him in an RTT, so I went basic. Here are a few pics. Hope you like them.

Thanks, I appreciate it! As for the cape, it took a while to grow on me, but I kind of like it too. :)

Thanks, and your welcome!! :) I agree about the metal Abbadon, as he is simply dwarfed by the size of the newer Chaos Terminators. I got tired of the way it looked, so I decided to do something about it. :)

Mm, Abaddon. Mr. Laughs-at-Mephiston's-lack-of-invulnerable-save.

One of my favorite characters, and from the look of the way the game is going towards hero-craft again, I can't wait to see the next iteration of him. :)
