Where did bill king go?

Does anyone know why Williams kings books are written by someone other than William king? Gotrek and Felix are now written by nathan long. The Space wolf books are now written by "Lee Lightner" who doesn't even have the deceny to be a real person- its two authors working under a pseudonym. Luckily they're the best of friends?

Whatever happened to Bill King? did he write a book about squats or suggest a general lowering of games workshop prices or something?

Not sure, but his personal website hasn't been updated since 2006.
