hello again.

i am going to enter GD or mini-GD and haven't quite decided on a model ! (yes it in like 20 days, yes i do have a LOT of free time!)

now my strengths are:
cloth
NMM
freehand !!!
power armour

sadly after a fire prisim and swooping hawks my funds are not doing too well so its a £10 limit on models
so after trolling gw for AGES i have narrowed it down to

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440176a&prodId=prod1560134&rootCatGameStyle=

with a bit of plasticard rod i could make a cool silencer ! ( think SAS style) however does anyone know if the studded shoulder and head are separate pieces

then there's

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440176a&prodId=prod1560132&rootCatGameStyle=
and
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440176a&prodId=prod1060048&rootCatGameStyle=

which id just paint up (and sculpt a cloak and give him a silencer, iron halo and banner)

and the final SM

https://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1060047&rootCatGameStyle=

whod get a cloak, scilencer and a iron halo!

and THE final option:

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440168a&prodId=prod1690031&rootCatGameStyle=

id twist the arm and make a banner!

so please peoples opinions wold be nice

thank you

fuzz

p.s. if you have any other suggestion please let me know !!

is the coolest imho- if you had another model from, your collection running at him it would be a cool diorama. Otherwise I would recommend converting one of them up as a standard bearer to play up cloth and free hand.

my least favourite is the lightning claw one.

I agree, this (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440176a&prodId=prod1060048&rootCatGameStyle=) is the best one of the lot. Lightning claw is the least interesting, and is kind of awkwardly posed.

The aiming veteran is a model you don't see very often, so that's a huge plus.

Do a Legion of the Damned Model. That would be a good test of your abilities!

i had given some thought to the LOTD models (and particuliary the sarge) however i never really liked the poses or 1 foot bone 1 foot normal :( (and the only one you could convert to a banner bearer looks like hes squatting down. so sadly no :(

so arfter school im going to get either aming vet: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440176a&prodId=prod1060048&rootCatGameStyle=

or a gk standard bearer ! http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440176a&prodId=prod1060048&rootCatGameStyle=

ill do some sketches in school.

thankyou for all you help!!

fuzz :D

once i get the camera fixed and the model painted ill post some of my other cool stuff : NMM asurmen and death jester, and stag class war walker :D
